As the COVID-19 pandemic becomes more prevalent, The Minnesota Republic is suspending its publishing until Apr. 9th.
Being a student-led newspaper at the University of Minnesota, I firmly believe its most responsible to suspend our meetings until Apr. 2, the day after the university will be evaluating the online instruction situation. We are a small group of students with a small budget, and in this situation, health must come first.
Returning from spring break puts our community at risk, and I want to take preventative measures to keep our staff healthy.
I apologize to our readers if this is of any inconvenience. We will continue to update our social media during this time.
