What is your favorite part about being a gopher athlete?

My favorite part is being with my teammates and the opportunity to work and compete with them everyday.

What are you doing to prepare yourself in between indoor and outdoor track season?

In between seasons we will focus on increasing our mileage to prepare for a long outdoor season.

How do you think running with the Gophers has changed you over the past 4 years?

It has been a very humbling experience. Everyone comes into college with a great high school resume but all of that goes out the door on the collegiate level. I have a different understanding of discipline, hard work, and patience.

What are your study tips you have to help balance homework and running?

The best way for me to study is to get a majority of my school work done in the morning and earlier in the week. The last thing you want to do when you get home from practice is more homework. We also tend to leave for meets on Thursdays and Fridays so it is important to have everything done before then.

What is something about the team most people don’t expect?

I think people would be surprised by the wide range of personalities we have on our team. Everyone comes from a completely different background and has a different story and way of doing things.

Who are your personal role models?

Elon Musk, Tom Brady, and Jack Bogle

If you could describe yourself with 5 words what would they be?

Friendly, Active, Focused, Skeptical, Impatient.

What running shoe are you using right now?

5 Finger Vibrams

Who do you think would win in a fight. Batman or Superman?

Superman. And it wouldn’t be close.
