After months of anticipation, SG Lewis has finally released his second studio album, “AudioLust & HigherLove”. The album is a masterful blend of smooth jazz, yacht rock, and ‘80s pop music that showcases the British producer’s unique style and ability to create captivating melodies.

SG Lewis, whose real name is Sam Lewis, got his start in music as a teenager growing up in Reading, England. He started producing electronic music when he was just 16 years old, and began experimenting with different styles and sounds.

After finishing school, Lewis moved to Liverpool to study at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where he honed his production skills and developed his unique style. It was during his time at LIPA that he began to gain recognition as a producer, releasing his first EP, “Yours”, in 2015.

Since then, SG Lewis has gone on to work with a variety of artists and producers, including Dua Lipa, Clairo, and AlunaGeorge. His music has been praised for its genre-bending style and emotional depth, and he has become known for his ability to blend different musical styles to create something entirely new and fresh.

As SG Lewis himself explained, the album is a reflection of his journey as an artist. “When I started singing, I was basically just trying to imitate the voices that I thought would suit the track best. And that was really hard because I just felt like I didn’t know what my voice was, but the more music that I wrote, the more apparent it became what my vocal strengths were and what my weaknesses were. And I think that really helped inform how I approached writing vocals for the album”, Lewis told Dancing Astronaut in an interview that preceded times‘ February 19, 2021 release via Virgin EMI and PMR Records (UK) and Casablanca Records/Republic Records (US).

The album’s 15 tracks are a seamless mix of different musical styles and genres, creating a cohesive and enjoyable listening experience from start to finish. Each song is carefully crafted, with attention paid to the smallest details, resulting in a polished and professional sound.

One of the standout tracks on the album is “Call On Me”, which features the talented Swedish singer Tove Lo. The song has a distinctly ‘80s feel, with a catchy synth riff and a danceable beat that is sure to get listeners moving. Tove Lo’s vocals are a perfect match for SG Lewis’ production style, adding an extra layer of depth and emotion to the song.

Another highlight of the album is “Fever Dreamer”, which features the vocals of Canadian singer Charlotte Day Wilson and American rapper Channel Tres. The song has a laid-back, jazzy vibe that is reminiscent of yacht rock and features some of SG Lewis’ most impressive production work. Wilson’s smooth vocals blend perfectly with Channel Tres’ rap verses, creating a dynamic and engaging track that is sure to become a fan favorite.

Throughout the album, SG Lewis showcases his ability to create complex and intricate arrangements that are both catchy and emotional. He has a knack for blending different genres and musical styles, creating something entirely unique and captivating. This is evident on tracks like “One More (feat.
