After months of anticipation, SG Lewis has finally released his second studio album, “AudioLust & HigherLove”. The album is a masterful blend of smooth jazz, yacht rock, and ‘80s pop music that showcases the British producer’s unique style and ability to create captivating melodies.

SG Lewis, whose real name is Sam Lewis, got his start in music as a teenager growing up in Reading, England. He started producing electronic music when he was just 16 years old, and began experimenting with different styles and sounds.

After finishing school, Lewis moved to Liverpool to study at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where he honed his production skills and developed his unique style. It was during his time at LIPA that he began to gain recognition as a producer, releasing his first EP, “Yours”, in 2015.

Since then, SG Lewis has gone on to work with a variety of artists and producers, including Dua Lipa, Clairo, and AlunaGeorge. His music has been praised for its genre-bending style and emotional depth, and he has become known for his ability to blend different musical styles to create something entirely new and fresh.

As SG Lewis himself explained, the album is a reflection of his journey as an artist. “When I started singing, I was basically just trying to imitate the voices that I thought would suit the track best. And that was really hard because I just felt like I didn’t know what my voice was, but the more music that I wrote, the more apparent it became what my vocal strengths were and what my weaknesses were. And I think that really helped inform how I approached writing vocals for the album”, Lewis told Dancing Astronaut in an interview that preceded times‘ February 19, 2021 release via Virgin EMI and PMR Records (UK) and Casablanca Records/Republic Records (US).
